Resident Update – September 30, 2025
Dear Residents,
As discussed at the September 25th HOA meeting, the Board has reviewed updated pool repair bids. The winning contract was awarded to Veteran’s Pool for approximately $34,000. Although slightly higher than their earlier quote of $31,000, this bid best met the Board’s criteria after comparison and adjustments. Work is scheduled to begin soon, and we look forward to partnering with them.
We also plan to begin fence repairs before year-end, depending on how much remains from the special assessment once pool work is completed.
At this time, the clubhouse phone line is still unavailable. Until a replacement is arranged, please use the Slaton portal to submit requests (preferred for documentation) or leave a message with Slaton (214.343.06420 for a board member to return your call.
In addition, we’re excited to announce a fun community event:
🎃 Meadowcreek SPOOKTACULAR Yard Contest
- Category: Best Halloween/Fall Yard Decorations
- Judges: Meadowcreek children (ages 7–12, with parent chaperones; under 7 must be with a parent)
- Prizes: Yard sign + $25 gift card
- Judging: Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 6:00 PM (meet at clubhouse 5:30 PM for pizza & drinks)
- Process: Children judges will tour the neighborhood with adult volunteers, tally votes at the clubhouse, and present the winning yard sign (displayed for 2 weeks).
Note: Trial event; more contests may follow for Christmas and Spring. - Encouraged: Costumes and fall spirit wear!

Pool information from the COG regarding pool closure/abandonment/deadline November 1, 2025. The pool was last inspected on June 3, 2025 and as expected did not pass. Previous inspection was 2024.

Fence information- the fence leaning has been an ongoing issue as more of our homes settle. The COG already has nuisance file on us. A few things have been repaired but not the full extent of the walls. Intrepid Alley is below from 2023 showing the damage (has been fixed as it was the worst of everything) but remaining sections of all of the alleyway need attention.
